My 96th review after Earthworm Jim HD.
Okay, when I bought this game on PC together with Sonic 3D Blast, I played it long ago. It's really good, but short. It has Sonic, Super Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Dr. Robotnik, Metal Sonic, Tails Doll, Metal Knuckles, and Egg Robo. Plus, it has five stages. FIVE STAGES!!! It would be cool if they made a sequel of this game and put more stages than that like 30 stages or more. That's how it would've been cool. But until then, this game gets a C-! Here the results:
Game-play 8/10 Fun, but one problem: it's short and it has 5 stages.
Graphics 7/10: Good. Pretty good and colorful.
Controls 6/10: They were okay, just not much to say about the controls.
Sound/Music 10/10: Nice and awesome sense of soundtrack includes Can You Feel The Sunshine and Super Sonic Racing, both of which are awesome songs that I love.
Lasting Appeal 7/10: Was an okay Sonic game. Good fun 'til it wears off.
Overall, Sonic R is an okay game.
The Good:
-Great sense of soundtrack including the two songs that I love
-Amazing level designs
-Awesome sense of speed, which makes the race fun
The Bad:
-It's very short as it has five stages
This game is also in a Sonic collection in the game Sonic Gems Collection so you might wanna give this game a try. That's the end of my review. Good day!
