At the time of writing this review sonic mega collection plus is available for £9.99 at most game retailers ;) and that is the reason for the high value factor, with a fair ammount of classic genesis (megadrive) games and gamegear games to play, where else can you find value like this.

The main games in this collection are :
Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Sonic The Hedgehog 3
Sonic and Knuckles
Sonic Spinball
Sonic 3D : Flickies Island (also known as Sonic 3D Blast)
and Mean Bean Machine

However you can unlock some great games such as Sonic The Hedgehog 3 + Knuckles, which was first released on the sega megadrive and was played by combining the Sonic And Knuckles Cartridge with the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Cartridge through the unique "lock on" technology.
In all their are 3 lock on games available in this pack, Blue Sphere, Sonic 2 + Knuckles and Sonic 3 + Knuckles.

As well as boasting a great collection of Sonic related games this collection also has classics such as "The Ooze" and "Comix". Not to mention the collection of GameGear games

I dont really want to go in depth about any of the games featured in this collection as their will be 100's of reviews, so ill just keep this about the actual collection and its contents.

For replayability id say this game has huge replayability, after so many hours of playing each game (i think its around 3 hours, not sure) you will unlock hints for each game, some of these hints are actually cheats/ways to get into debug modes etc, adding even more replay value to the games.

Overall verdict : Worth a buy, even if you have played the games before.
however if you already own Sonic 3 + Knuckles, i dont reccomend this collection, as Sonic 3 + Knuckles i think is the main selling point, well it was for me anyway :P.
