While not the best Sonic game, Sonic Heroes is what you expect for all of you Sonic fans, it's fast, fun, and great.
Bad: Voice acting is too cute for my taste. The Rose Story is pointless, The Chaotix missions are ridiculous. and Of course, Stupid Teamwork Moral.
SERIOUSLY, why do people hate Sonic Heroes, i mean, it's not great, but it's certainly worth playing. Maybe it's because it was inferior to the other 3-D sonic games, Sonic Adventure(One of my alltime favorite games) and Sonic Adventure 2. But if you look at the current generation of Sonic Games i.e SONIC THE S***THOG! You'll take a look at Sonic Heroes and say: "Hey this isn't that half bad."
To be Honest, i didn't like Sonic Heroes, but then it needed time to grow on me, well it did in 2006, i'll you that much :) The stages are great, the music is great, the graphics are colorful giving you a good blend of the sonic you know and love, too something new. A good chunk of replay value is available, and the game is even controlled well. But that is just the good parts. The voice acting is, i would'nt say bad, but just cute, i mean, TOO cute, for my own taste. Also, When i think of Sonic games, i think of a bad-ass hedgehog taking down Robotnik over and over again, what i do not want in a sonic game is a moral. REAL SUPERPOWER OF TEAMWORK? MORE LIKE SUPERPOWER OF Bulls**t!
About half of game is superb, until we get to Team Rose, and Team Chaotix. Now granted Team Chaotix is ok, but some of mission are tedious and rediclously pathetic. The Rose story is so pointless, that it's a wonder why they added it in anyway.
So overall, While not the best Sonic game, Sonic Heroes is what you expect for all of you Sonic fans, it's fast, fun, and great. I'd check it out.
