Sonic forces review (Nintendo switch)

Sonic forces is far from the worst sonic game ever, and I really think people are overexagerating how bad it is because its right of the heels of sonic mania, but it still isn’t great. The main thing that kills it for me is the level design. Its not horrible, but its bland and not particularly interesting. If the level designs were just a bit more engaging, this would a much better game. Everything else about the game is good though. The graphics are amazing, probably some of the best in a 3D sonic game to date, the presentation is solid, the story is, in my opinion, decent, the music, while not a perfect soundtrack, is still really good, the custom character is a neat idea that is executed really well, and the controls are good. This game is defintely on the right track, but the bland and uninteresting level designs hold it back from being the great game I so wanted it to be. So overall, sonic forces gets a 6/10. It is a decent game, and I do like it, as most other sonic fans will as well, but it still could and should have been better.
