For the first time (unless you count 3D Blast) Sonic breakes the third dimension and greatly impresses me at a young age

It was a very good game, but as I look back Adventure 2 is my favorite over the controls and characters. But this game is amazing too!! I love their use of one boss, but his different forms are really tough and it doesn't feel like the same battle over again. Sonic's speed is never minimal, and have plenty of space to just run around and see if Big will ever catch a fish, let alone Froggy. I especially miss in SA2 that Tails would actually run around and not sit in those Mechs. The only thing I remember truly hard in this game was (in a 8 year-old's body) having to play as Gamma was ridiculuosly hard. and I remember trying to figure out how to beat that final boss of Perfect Chaos and having killed Super Sonic so many times, and then when it came to that final hit it truly felt that it was worth playing it for 13 hours. So, all in all this s a great game to play!!
