The classic Dreamcast-seller has finally made its way onto my ps3, and its as good as it ever was. Very.
Sonic Adventure takes Sonic into true 3D world for the first time, and apart from the odd glitch, and some frustrating camera angles, it does exceedingly well, and even seasoned Sonic fans will not find this a walk in the park by any means. The Chao breeding simulation is a nice distraction to the relentless onslaught of the main game, and although being al little silly, those things are indeed rather cute.
As said before, for the time of its release, the graphics and sound are amazing, and the game structure, although slow to reveal itself, is extremely clever. Sonic Adventure has ported well to the PS3, playing virtually identically to the original, which was a brilliant game to begin with. Absolutely 100% essential to Sonic fans, and still one of the best platformers out there.
