Good game but kinda easy. Only buy it if you are interested in Sonic series. Or becoming one.

This game was my first own Gamecube game. But I got into the series(and first used my cube) with SA2B.

Graphics wise this game is not that great. Yes, the opening scene and some other minicutscenes look good, but general graphics are mostly abverage wiht some nice details.

Music is, like in most Sonic games, good. It ranges from rock, techno, and just stage happy music. Boss and character music is appropiate to its theme. voice overs won't win a price, but are not as terrible as some may say.

Gameplay gives several option. There is Sonic and Tails(two slightly different stories) are typical sonic running stages, yet in the later you are racing. Finding Emerald shards with Knux takes its time, but is funner than the SA2B version, since this one has a better radar. E-102 Gamma is shooting, but not senseless shooting since enemy combos are needed to refill your time meter. Also he has the best story. Amy's gameplay is average platforming. But only touch Big's story to get the final story. Oh yeah, the story is way better than almost all E games(OOT is now considered to be T).

As I've said before, this game is easy. So easy that it should be a sin buying this game only for the story mode, unless you are already great a fan of Sonic. But the game has very much extra content. And for completing more objectives and misions, you get games that were originally on that gamegear, that just like the N-gage, virtually no one bought. this games provide about 3 hours of fun each.
