This is it, The Perfect Sonic Game. No other Sonic game can top this.
We have never a main 3-D Sonic game for the Sega Saturn, we got a few spin-off. But never a main sonic game. There was one in the works, but for whatever reason it was cancelled.
On Septembet 9th, 1999. We got it. Sonic Adventure!!!
Dreamcast Version: Sonic Adventure was 1 of the few perfect launch titles. The 2 i remember was Soul Calibur and Sonic Adventure.
The Graphics were amazing for it's time, even though theres a lot of pop-ups in the gameplay you can choice through 6 characters. But first, You play as Sonic.
The controls are smooth, and responsive, which makes the game really playable.
The cut-scenes were great, yet the voice-acting was mediocre,
but that's doesn't change the fact of the awesome gameplay. Great Boss Battles, tons of replay value. and is all around, a satisfying game.
Gamecube Version: Sonic Adventure was released again in the 2003 for the gamecube, it was called Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut.
The Graphics are more improved, but it's all around, the same perfect game, and you unlock some older games on the Game Gear, and you can also play as Metal Sonic, but it's just Sonic's Moves, metalized, but if you don't have a Dreamcast, i say pick this up for your Gamecube/Wii.
Xbox Live Arcade Version: Yep, it was released yet again in 2010 to hype the release of Sonic 4, i guess.
The Graphics are Yet improved, and even has a DX add-on, which is stupid, because it's pretty much the same game in the first place, but for 800 microsoft points, well worth for the investment. And the DX add-on for 400 microsoft points for a total of 1200, it is still worth getting.
So after the best Sonic game ever, what came next... Sonic Adventure 2. Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic 4. Hmm... Let's look at Sonic Adventure 2.
