It's simply a perfunctory port of a great looking game on Dreamcast.Play it on the Dreamcast with vga output, rather.

What's the point to simply upscale from scratch a bad programmed, discoloured and pixelated graphics to 720p and confine it in a little square in the center of the screen?
This is an atrocious porting, all in it is shabby and the framerate is ridiculous, nothing smooth as the Dreamcast version!
Where are ended the photorealistic textures of the grass and rocks of the first level? Why the sky looks as a mosaic and there's no lighting at all, neither simple effects as lens flares? Where are the millions of colours of the Dreamcast? The game evidently runs in a 16bit palette.
This game would have been better ported even to Ps2.
If they didn't manage to decently rebuild the first Sonic Adventure in HD how will they give justice to the Dreamcast Sonic Adventure 2 outstanding graphics? Though, I hope they will, of course.
The Gamecube ports are perfunctory too, but not as much as this, really mediocre and shameful!
In short, great disappointment, also considered the great Ps3 potentialities and Sega's blazoned competence.
Avoid this poor version at all cost and instead seek for a Dreamcast on Ebay, Amazon or wherever and enjoy THE REAL THING!
