Oh no not this again, I love all the retro sonic games (because I grew up with them) except this mess. So I decided to dust off my genesis only to find 2 things that nearly made me cry. 1st My copy of sonic CD has been deststroyed by time, water damage, and rat that lived in my basement :( and I found this game. Oh I can only remember my excitment to play this game for the 1st time when I was little. It looked awesome I thought it would be better than #3. But I was wrong. The thing that absolutly destroyes this game is the controls. Its like your playing with a dog turd rather than the genesis controller. Please note this review serves no purpose and is only for my love of the sonic series (well when they where on sega consoles) and am only doing this to re-tell my experiences as a little kid. And I consider these bad controlls as an omen for bad things to come and damn was I right about that.
(Here follows a rant about new sonic games, if you dont care skip to next paragraph) Why the hell cant they make a good sonic game now a days. I havent bought a sonic game since sonic heroes because I played them at my friends house and they absolutly suck. It pains me to say this but one of my favorite sonic games to come out after 2000 is sonic battle. Why? Because it isnt a sonic game. Its more like Brawl to go. But Its the only Gba game where I spent 100 hours just playing it over and over again because guess what, that game is awesome. That is why I think they need to make a remake of sonic 1-3 and cd with HD graphics and stuff like that. And keep sonic in 2-D because no 3D game has been that good, infact most suck (like sonic 06' and that stupid one where he is a werewolf, i mean werehog.)
