Exceptional game design deserves a higher rating.

I have been playing this now off and on since it came out and I find myself playing more and more. It is a 3rd person shooter, and may not appeal to you if you love the fun and gun COD games. You will find yourself stalking and teaming up to kill enemies, at a slower more thoughtful pace over much more interesting maps. You can get a nice used copy for less than a rental fee and play this for the foreseeable future. For the money this game is a 10.

I would give this a try. I play this MAG, Battlefield 3, KZ3, about equally and they all have something different to offer. This game is original and there are always plenty of people in the multiplayer campaigns. Originally I gave this a 7 because of the servers, but that has been fixed. The game designers did a great job. The maps are excellent. Weapons selection and physics are accurate, and the lighting and shading both day and night are very good. Working with team mates is an advantage, even essential. i originally gave this a low score because I could not get into games and there was severe lagging issues. It gets better each day. I have updated this review since the logging onto a multiplayer game is much easier then before, and once you are in a game the play is exceptional.

I really wish this game could have been smoother from the beginning. The concept of the game is outstanding requiring cooperative capture-the-flag and other tactics, and encourages team play. It helps to have communication to play well, so when you just want to escape into a FPS and not talk to anyone, this is not the game to play. You can get this game for about 5 bucks, and once you learn the controls have fun for months.
