Well if you dont know already, Socom II is very addictive. There are 2 kinds of play modes. Online and Offline, both give you different perpective of playing the game. Socom II however is the best version out of 4 Socoms. Theres Socom I, II, III, and Bravo (PSP). There is a very competive side to the game online. However online the game introduces flaws, and alot of cheating and lag. The servers are completely horrible, to the point you may just give up altogether. Offline runs pretty smoothe for the most part, but the missions will get very repetitive since you have to beat the game like 5 times offline just to unlock everything. You can play offline and unlock things that can be used online.
Personal thought, get this if you have a lot of time to dedicate to gameplaying. Otherwise leave it alone. This game is more addicting the Everquest was.
