I dont know what is going on these days. It seems at times that people jump on a band wagon even though they say there is no band wagon. Its like conformatiy through non conforminty. With that being said i have to say i am getting a little fed up with people claiming to be legacy player and there from the first day then putting this game down as nothing like, or worthy of the first teo games. Sure i have played every Socom but Combined Assult and you know what, i like the change because without it, it wouldnt be a different game. It would be a .5, an expansion. The series slow paced, take postion to survive theme is still here. The funniest complaint I have heard is that there are no pistols. Are these poeple serious? Do Navy Seals even use pistols? Anyway the game does no feature lean or game specific maps but it does have teamwork. My only real complaint with the game is that it "LOOKS" too much like MAG. In style and scheme. But the gameplay is nothing like any other third person shooter. It is better than confrontation is a lot of ways and others its not but in my opinion this may be my favorite socom yet. Its a little early still but i see myself really getting into this one.
