Okay game, which contains a poor single player campaign and a really good online game.

User Rating: 7.5 | SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs (Greatest Hits) PS2
Socom: U.S. Navy Seals-serie is one of the PS2's best tactical shooter. The third part of this serie is pretty good game, in online. This game took some innovations to online but also to single player game.

Instantly at the start of the game it's obvious that this game is only online game. There is also a single player campaign, whose best things are great animations and a good story. Gameplay is okay but there is lots of other problems. Game experience with poor missions and stupid soldiers is pretty poor.

Soldiers with poor AI are really obnoxious and the game will be saved only automatically in checkpoints. The game graphics are lots of worser than other shooters. Polygons slight amount can be noticed especially in the ground and characters aren't impressive, either. Music and sounds works great but sometimes there is moments, when somebody voice actor seems stupid. Vehicle controls are quite good and that's a good innovation.

However, this game is definitely one of the best games in network. Even 32-player can participate along. Maps are really good and there is also a good amount of weapons. Headset works good and it's great to speak with friends and plan attacks. This game is a great deal of fun in network. Value is 8 because online game is so good and fun. If you play only single-player, then value is maybe 6.

This is a great choice for they who play this game in the network. But if you don't play this game in the network, this is a pretty useless game.

THE GOOD
+Massive 32-player online game
+Pretty good atmosphere
+Good space animations

THE BAD
-Poor single-player game
-Some stages are little easy
-Artificial intelligence is poor
