Socom 2 will always be the perfect socom game... Socom 3 will always be the perfect screw up to a once perfect game...

Socom three is a great game; if you have never played any of the socom franchise games... And you love to be a sniper and not move at all... And love to see action threw a scope of a gun and not up against you in heavy combat... Now don't get me wrong, socom 3 did do some things right... For one, there new only set up is remarkably better then its predecessors... Also the new weapon set up and equal ness of there power is almost perfect... The fact you can unlock things for the multiplayer is a nice feature to force you to play the one thing you didn’t buy the game for... The single player, which wasn't anything to be desired... Now the main thing they did wrong was making the maps so massive... What they should have done is... For maps with vehicles and made large they should have eliminated sniper rifles... Now I’m not some douche bag who hates snipers, I love sniping its so satisfying... But in socom 2 is was satisfying, in socom 3 its just not the same... Because you see in Socom 3 no matter what... You always have campers, same with socom 2, but you won't find these campers in socom 3... By making the maps smaller with the 32 player quota it would have made it a lot more intense... Also the more zoomed out look and smaller aim circle just ruined the look... It doesn't feel like socom... "If it ain't broke don’t fix it." People still to this day play socom 2, a decent amount surprisingly for almost a 4 year old game that already has its squeal out... Socom 2 was perfect in most way... Then they decided to change what made it perfect and ruined it... Very upsetting for me and my friends who love this franchise... To say the least this game is decent... It's not good enough to hold me over until they come out with one for the next gen consoles... Because I’ve already stop playing it... I quit playing this game a little over a month after I started playing it... And just went back to S2.... If you've never tried the franchise just stick with the new, cause I highly doubt they'll go back to what’s right. This game will be your favorite game if you've never played socom before soo pick it up if that’s the case... If you are a fan and have been playing since S1 then rent this game too understand what i'm saying then throw it at the guy at blockbusters face and tell him to burn it...
