Best Socom ever. Nuff Said. (Single Player mode)

User Rating: 9 | SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs (Greatest Hits) PS2
**Note: This review is solely based on the Single Player mode of Socom 3: US Navy Seals for the PS2. Not on the online multiplayer.**

When I first saw Socom Fireteam Bravo on the PSP, I thought "this is a cool game". So I took a chance at buying Socom 3: US Navy Seals for the PS2, and boy was I amazed! It has a feel of American military action as soon as you step in the warzone wheter it be stealth, combat, or demolitions, this is the best Socom I've played. Now comes my review:

Presentation: 9/10

Like I said, this gives you a sense of war as soon as you play. You take the role of commander Specter of the US Navy Seals and you lead your Fireteam (Jester and 2 other members) into battles against terrorists organizations in North Africa, Asia, & Poland. Before each mission, you can assign your weapons for each member of your team and prepare for battle.

Graphics: 8/10

Graphics are great overall, but in some areas, it may need more work on realism.

Gameplay: 10/10

The HUD, Health, & Radar are set nicely. It does'nt take a lot of space. Enemy AI gets smart on this so plan your moves before you attack.

Sound (Music): 7/10

To be honest, the music is decent in this SOCOM, although I get pretty bored listening to "orchestratic" war themes during gameplay.

Sound (SFX / Voice-overs): 9/10

Kicka** sound effect. Gunshots, movement, and such go very nice. The voice-over work is very important. You never know when HQ (the female voice that directs you) may give you something for the mission.

Conclusion:

This is a MUST HAVE for any SOCOM fan and all military-shooter fans all over the globe (even those who play Halo or Call of Duty). Without a doubt, this is THE BEST SOCOM game today.
