I just recently picked up a PS2 for whatever downtime I have in between games for the Xbox 360. This is one of the first games I picked up to go with my "new" console. It's hard to believe that it's been a few years since this on came out. It looks great for a last-gen game and plays well to boot! I see that it takes advantage of the progressive scanning that some games can and it shows.
I can see why the series has such a fanbase. The controls are spot-on and the presentation is top-notch. The ability to call out squad commands over the USB headset in single player is testament to how the production values are so high for this game. A perfect blend of 3rd-person shooting and tactical gameplay makes this a title that will get quite a few hours yet in my "new" PS2!
