I began playing SMITE at the recommendation of a co-worker. I never played a MOBA, but had watched them at gaming expos, online, etc. Decided to try it out and immediately got hooked. From the diverse characters, well designed graphics, to the sounds, and gameplay; Everything made this game interesting. Hi-Rez Studio's biggest point is they take the advice of the ever-growing community to constantly be working on and improving the game. The game has taken huge strides since early beta to the polished look it is at now. It's free to play making it a great game for you and friends, but you will soon find yourself wanting to throw money at the game because it is that fun and satisfying! You can do so through the god-pack (worth every penny), skins, voice packs, icons, etc. The favor system (earned by simply playing games) allows you to unlock the basic skins as well. Overall, I've been playing Beta for over a year and we're just getting started!
