I feel that starting with the sound off and completely ignoring the instructions ruined the game for me, so I quit for a few days. I came back, searched for the notes, and turned up the volume in the middle of the night. It's a really creepy game, and if you're the kind of person who loves night hikes, you won't after this. I had gone to wilderness survival camp for years back when I was a teen, and the woods felt right at home, but after this game, it's actually really scary. The game is simple: find the notes and don't look at slenderman, but slenderman becomes so interesting that you eventually feel drawn to finding him, but don't, it will stop you from being surprised when you see him, and that will ruin the horror aspect. Slender is by far one of the scariest games I have ever played, but it's addicting. You know, I think I might go play it now.
