This is based on a creepypasta created on the something awful forum. and once you start the gameplay, you have 8 pages to collect, and the graphics are decent. but not the best i saw. and one you collect a page the slender man gets closer to you, and its pretty creepy, once i saw him, i went insane, and it made slender one of the cult classics of the 2010's. and the controls are decent. arrow keys are for walking, and the mouse is used to look. and even on a low budget, slender just made the books as one of the most scariest games ever. and the gameplay could be really simple, but you'll get used to it, there are extras like a daytime mode, and there used to be a 20$ mode. which is based on the gag that slendy wants 20$. but it was removed sadly. ;( but there was a new mode where you play the game by a video tape in a manner like marble hornets. and the game, is one scary game. ;)
