Sleeping Dogs provides something truly new and unique to open world games in terms of settings and gamep-lay.

The best part about this game I think, is its environment. The Hong Kong layout provides a unique setting from what we're used to seeing in other open world games like GTA, Saints Row, and others. The most powerful suit of the game is its combat; particularly its environmental take-downs. A lot of reviewers say that it copies Arkham City game-play, but though similar, it really is quite different. The driving of the game is also very smooth.

However, the game's major problem is in its camera angles when driving and especially when shooting. The camera shakes all around and I found it difficult to centralize the camera and focus it. Also, going into and getting out of cover is very inconvenient. You have to be facing the obstacle to enter cover and with the absence of features like cover switch, escaping gunfire when going in to cover and getting out of cover is difficult. This means that if you want to move from one cover to another, you have to exit from that cover, move to the next cover and press the cover button again, and this is really clumsy.

All in all, the game is really fun to play, the voice acting is top-notch and game-play is sooo good, you'll be coming back for more.
