Not just for kids!

What I like: cartoon graphics with bright colors that are crisp and clear, and quite pretty; enemies that disappear in a puff of smoke instead of a shower of blood; challenge rounds that let you level up without having to complete a complicated level; characters able to jump.

What I don't like: falling off the edge; not being able to back-track - you can really only go forward because the perspective never changes to allow you to go back for something; not being able to reset my characters back to level 1 like I can on the Wii; no map to allow me to get my bearings and see what areas I missed.

I spent several weekends doing Skylanders demo events. They didn't send us the 3DS version until about the 3rd weekend. I found that Skylanders for 3DS is completely different than the one for Wii/PS3/PC-Mac/XBox. I was very surprised. I am finding this version more challenging than the one for Wii - you can fall off the edge into oblivion, the attacks are different, the entire world map is unique to the 3DS. The monsters are the same as on the Wii, but the world itself is unique to 3DS.
