Spyro is back, but he's not alone.

User Rating: 8.5 | Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure PS3
Yes and it's true legendary Spyro is back in action with a bunch of new characters, a combination of Adventure / RPG, and charming game that 6 y.o. kids will enjoy playing this game. While it seems the game is very appealing to younger kids there are some concerns in which parents should need to decide whether this game is worth it or not:

Presentation = 9/10
* This is the first game that has been introduced as a cross-compatible on any console with the use of it's portal of power device to summon your favorite character. Although given the fact that the initial price to buy this game + the portal of power device + first 3 character figure (that includes Spyro) for $70, the disappointment now comes on buying the rest of the characters to collect which is a real highway robbery price. The price of each figure is $8/piece and there's a total of 32 characters to collect (you figure the math). I rated this for the innovation and uniqueness of this game.

Graphics = 8/10
* Cool environments, but there's a bit lack on some areas of the game. I'd say it's not that bad then again with the price of this game, Activision should had dedicated to give more spice to consumer's eyes.

Music / Sound = 7/10
* Ok now for this part I'm a bit disappointed that all Skylander characters doesn't speak at all. Full voice casting on all NPC's is fair, then Activision had missed this target big time.

Gameplay / Mechanics = 7/10
* Parents and kids will enjoy playing a co-op game that everyone will please. Lots of unlocked characters and things to do. A simple gameplay that is fun to watch.

Conclusion:
* As a parent, I would recommend this game, however this is something that you should need to decide whether you want to commit buying a game that you'll ended up a hefty $300+ just to spend for the game and collecting the entire figure. I checked out the figures and I'd say they're decent so I rate this game an 8.5.
