Sin and Punishment lives up to its legend. It is amazing, even by todays standards.

The story takes place in the near future, when scientists create a new species to use for food. They placed the herd in Japan, but the creatures begin to mutate and attack the people of Japan. An international peacekeeping organization called the Armed Volunteers tries to stop the creatures, now referred to as "ruffians", but they also oppress the Japanese.

Another group, referring to itself as the Savior Group and led by a mysterious woman named Achi, rises up to defend Japan against the ruffians and Armed Volunteers.

The game is a Third Person, On-Rails shooter. This works really well with in the game, with the camera panning and swerving to show the epic views of the battlefield.

The enemies are many and varied, with many needing well thought out tactics to beat. The bosses are well designed, with some being epic in scale.

The only niggle I have is that it is way to short and leaves you wanting more. It's not a deal breaker though, and you will normally find yourself playing it again and again.

This is an excellent game, that is well worth the Wii Points.
