A very adictive strategy game, composed by an atmosphere of business, management and lot's of golf! Way to go Sid Meier!

User Rating: 7.8 | SimGolf PC
Sid Meier's Sim Golf is an addictive game, where you impersonate the role of a golf course manager and a golfer himself, Mr. Gary Golf. The purpose of the game is the player to turn sections of land located in different regions (e.g. Phoenix; Las Vegas; Hawaii; Japan; Spain) each one with it's one climate and characteristics, into a golf course appealing to golfers and people who want to purchase lots on your land. Sim Golf gives you liberty to entirely design your holes, as well as to place landmarks, trees and other vegetation, build casinos, heliports, marinas and resort hotels on your course.
It may not be easy to achieve success, but you'll know when you achieved it by the number of club members, than can evolve into silver members or golden members. With your fame spreading, moneyloaded people will come to you with deals, actions and offering you more land for you to expand your course at your will.
About the negative side of his game I must point graphism as the black mark. It keeps reminding you that it is a 1997th game, but truly ahead of it's time.
About the positive side of this game I highlight the learning curve, and the fun factor that this game has to offer. You spend about 15 to 20 minutes to be familiar with the "how to's" of the game, and it takes you forever to quit to windows. A must have of strategy games.
