The DRM aside, SimCity is the best urban planning simulator out there.

User Rating: 9 | SimCity PC
Pros:

-Addicting gameplay
-Many different strategies available; every game is different
-Humorous
-Great music and sound
-The density controlled by roadway type was a puzzling switch, but works great
-Add-ons to buildings make it so you no longer need to build 20 of each building in one city
-Resource management is brand new and a great addition; you can mine for coal and sell it or buy coal for your power plant on the global market
-Wonderful graphics with tons of different filters

Cons:
-The always-online Digital Rights Management means you may need to wait in line to play a single-player game due to strain on the SimCity servers. I expect this to stabilize in the future but you're out of luck if you want to play without an internet connection.
-Various elements from SimCity 4 removed, including one-way streets and subways
-Limited space in cities; government buildings take up more space as populations get larger and larger

All in all, if you like the series, you'll love this game. If you're worried about the DRM, wait two weeks after the release date for things to stabilize. 9/10.
