Wow, this game Sucks with a capital Fail.

The graphics are great but the rest horrible. All the things that made the other Silent Hunter's good have been removed, hell there isn't even a compass. It's awesome when you get a message saying "aircraft bearing 148" and the 3 men on deck each point in a different direction. Enemy AI is poor, after I sent 5 torpedoes (yes 5, the TDC doesn't work well either) at a British destroyer it only aggroed after I surfaced. (The XO also was reporting that the ship was moving at 0 knots but it was leaving a wake)
It's a chore having to physically move from one part of the boat to another and having to chat with your crew to boost morale, come on. The GUI is awful. Some features don't work, I gave the order to man the flak gun but nobody ever showed up even after several attempts. The deck gun crew wouldn't fire on an enemy ship either, I had to man the weapon myself. Plus the game allowed me to man the deck gun in bad weather, each time a wave came up it engulfed the entire deck gun but I was still able to fire.
It's hard to believe Ubisoft Romania made SH4 after you try playing this polished turd. I'm sorry I bought this.
