Early copies did not have DRM warning

I love reviewing games. I have SIlent hunter going back to 16 bit days. But this game is a very poor release. All the bugs mentioned in the Gamespot review are there. Unfortunately I have a shared internet connection... Read Full Review

Wow, this game Sucks with a capital Fail.

The graphics are great but the rest horrible. All the things that made the other Silent Hunter's good have been removed, hell there isn't even a compass. It's awesome when you get a message saying "aircraft bearing 148" ... Read Full Review

    Horrible DRM

Horrible DRM. Requires an internet connect at ALL times to an UBISoft server. Good luck playing if UBIsoft ever decides to shut down the server. Good luck playing if you can't connect to the server. Good luck p... Read Full Review

When the game was launched for sure a lot of people bashed the game because the DRM system and the bugs present at the launch. It wasn't fair to bash the game from the start so i waited for more than a month to write som... Read Full Review

    Silent Hunter 5 is terrible!

I must say that I was a great fan of the Silent Hunter series. From Silent hunter 1, which was prehistoric, to Silent hunter 3, which was and extraordinary leap above Silent hunter 2. Silent hunter 4 added a beautiful ga... Read Full Review

    A shameful release.

Just returned my copy a few hours ago... :( Ubisoft, you should be ashamed of yourselves for publishing what feels like a Beta! What good is the crew if they don't do their jobs? What good is being able to interact ... Read Full Review

A step backwards for the franchise.

First, let me say, that I have been a huge fan of the Silent Hunter franchise. I very much looked forward to the Silent Hunter V release and am sorry to say that the game is a disappointment. The game is too slow and t... Read Full Review

    It's difficult evaluate a game that...just don't plays!

Simply the Server that Ubisoft chose to force the game-users is totally unreliable, often down, with save game (teorically sinchronized on this server) lost and unrecoverable, so you can play for more than an hour huntin... Read Full Review

Terrible!!! I'm a life long Silent Hunter player and am hugely disappointed with this rubbish!

I have played the silent hunter games for many years and love the realism they have brought to controlling a WW2 submarine. I was really looking forward to this game and thought it would be a new and improved SH3 & 4, h... Read Full Review
