Silent Hill: Origins is the first Silent Hill on PSP, wich is a famous survival-horror franchise. The story is the same as in every Silent Hill game. Travis Grady (a lonely trucker on his way home) takes a shortcut through Silent Hill. He sees a girl on the street, hits the brakes and then gets out of the truck and begins looking for her. This yourney takes him through 4 main places in Silent Hill (Alchemilla Hospital, Cedar Grove Sanatarium, Altraud Theatre and Riverside Motel). These take between 20 and 50 minutes. This game is very short, however youll propably want to come back once you finished it. This is because of the 14 accolades (some sort of achievements) and the things it unlocks when you get them. The gameplay is also pretty classic Silent Hill gameplay. Mostly you are running around searching for items and fighting monsters, while trying to find a door that isnt locked or jammed. When you fight enemies, you have a few ways to do that: your fists; melee weapons lying around everywhere in Silent Hill (these are breakable) and firearms. Of course you can always run if your low on health or ammo. One new feature in this game is the possibility to switch worlds between the normal and the otherworld, everytime you see a mirror. This is pretty useful, because some doors that are locked in the normal world are not locked in the otherworld; the same can happen with needed items (like keys or other special things). There are a lot of mirrors in the game and you will make use of them very often.
