This game will make you want to be nice so you dont go to hell....or whatever this place is.
But do not take that the wrong way, you will not stop playing Silent Hill: Homecoming until the very end. The story is one of the best of the series, and you connect well with the character. I have no clue how the Japanese masterminds behind this game at Konami do this, but this game is almost like its own individual genre apart from other suspense/horror games. Give it a shot. You will quickly become interested in the strange ghost town of Shephards Glen, and the game will leave you satisfied. Trust me.
Apart from that, one of my favorite new features is how satisfying the combat system feels. You can choose to beat the hell (literally) out of the strange creatures that stalk you with quick slashes, or you can duke it out with an amazing dodge based counter attack system, and strike back with a few hard blows, stun your opponent, then pull back your weapon, only to drop it twice as hard on the head of your enemy for a beautiful finish. When you master the moves, you will anticipate the arrival of your enemies, and throw them down.
Do not miss this great game. Thats all I can say.
But be careful.....you will jump a few times through the game.
