If you read my review for the first Silent Hill, you'd know I loved it, and after getting each ending for it, I went to Gamestop and bought this one. The plot follows James Sunderland, a 20 something man who's wife died three years ago from a horrible disease. Then a week before the game begins, James gets
a letter from her telling him to go to Silent Hill and that she's waiting for him there. James is then put through a nightmarish series of events that cause him to question his sanity. That as much of the story as I'll reveal to you, play it yourself. I think the game took a risk by not continuing the story from the first game, but the story is so good itself that I really didn't mind. Also, this game likes to mess with your mind and make you think as you play it. All the way to the shocking twist at the end. The game also had me getting emotional
at some points. (Especially after I got the "In Water" ending during my first playthough) So if you want a game that I think is nearly as good as the first, get this one. Look out for my review of the rest of the Silent Hill games!
