Dark atmosphere, great story with no real scare
Even Silent Hill 2 has very dark atmosphere, maybe the darkest among other Silent Hill game but surprisingly Silent Hill 2 is not as scary as you thought. I am agree with GameSpot it has no real scare.
Now lets talk about the Good and the Bad of this game:
The Good:
- Dark and scary atmosphere
The unique of Silent Hill series is they always successfully deliver the dark and scary atmosphere which has not been successfully delivered by most of horror game.
- Graphic
Good for a 2002 game, maybe its related to this game atmosphere.
- Very good storyline
Like I am explain in the first, this game has a mixed "feeling" of storyline. Sad, scary, disturbing, and terror is maybe the thing you will feel in this game.
- Not only good but also clever puzzles:
It takes me a long time to figure out some puzzle (I never use walkthrough)
The Bad:(the one and only)
- Stupid and slow enemy, which make the game does not have a real scare, too easy, and not challenging even in the hardest difficulty.

Great game if the enemy is more clever and faster.
