Disappointing.

Disappointing. I played RT3 before this, so comparison is inevitable. First of all, it has no depth of RT3 (which is a couple years older game) especially in matters concerning economy and finance. You can buy factories (but you can't buy raw material producers, not sure why), sure but everything you need for your factory to make profit is to supply it whit raw material, selling the product is non of your business. There is no Stock exchange (in a real sens), no bonds, no loans, shares are there, but all you can do whit them is to sell or to buy them (your company not you) , there is no dividends, no price fluctuations etc. It is all very simplified, on a level of, let's say 10 year old. Second annoying thing is time. It just goes to fast (i am not talking about the speed of your trains but game time in years is way to fast, new engines, patents appears all the time, so i had no time to use most of them). In RT3 a year is a long period in which you have chance to do something, in Railroads it is just a blink of an eye. One good thing about it is train management, solving the problem of two trains on the same track, but that is ruined by oversimplified building, laying the track where ever you want while buildings automatically move with no extra cost for you. Overall, playing this game gave me no satisfaction. I'm going back to good old RT3.
