Some good elements but mostly below par, yet a fun game to pick up from now and then.

Out of the three legend games to come out this is the best one, yet that really isn't saying a lot. The gameplay can get very glitchy and just plain annoying at times. As for the graphics the wrestlers look better than the previous versions. Still seems that a few of the guys are still too big looking. As for replay value it's pretty good for multi-player and just not very much to offer on the single-player side of things. Several different styles of singles matches and a King of the Ring style tournament for singles or tag teams. I still go back to this game from now and then. Where else can I squash the Ultimate Warrior and Sting with Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and Macho Man Randy Savage. Also Showdown has 4 on 4 elimination style tag. That was always my favorite thing in the late 80's early 90's and now I can finally do it in a video game. Also it has a create a wrestler which I never really wasted my time on it. The selection of legends is good. I don't know what Ric Flair is but I would think he'd deserve to be in this game but nowhere to be found. Though I guess I could complain for awhile about certain wrestlers missing but seems pointless and just be happy with what they offered with their selection. In the end it still gets played for what it has to offer.
