Starfighter Sanvein is a PS1 shooter. You select a body for your ship, and a weapon type. You then select an area to go to. This is where the game starts, you must then battle in a small area and destroy all the enemies. Once you have cleared that area, you will select a new area to battle in until you can defeat the final boss. While battling the enemies, a timer is constantly going down. The timer also goes down while you are selecting an area. Even though the timer seems a little out of place in this game, it makes the game overall fell more intense. Once you have defeated the boss, you advance to a new area. You will then do the same thing again, defeat the enemies in the area that you selected, defeat minibosses, destroy the level boss, and advance to the next stage. The game is short, and there is a little unlockable stuff. This game is good if you are on a budget. The graphics are ok to PS1 standards. They are good, but nothing extravagant. This game is a decent game overall and has some good gameplay. The only downside to it is that it has a timer that seems out of place. Still, if you like spaceship shooters, give this game a try.
