They took a whole new step in the shining series making this an action rpg. pretty cool. I like the story especially with the breaking of the crystals and the long lost evil brother. however, the game got to a point where it just plainly, out right got boring. hack and slash all the way through. easy enough game to learn and play.

i feel like the developers let down the shining series with this installment. it could have been better. I remember the shining series on the saturn console and also the emulated versions of past shining games. The music was nostalgic and really gave a feel to the game. However, this game was all bland. one big ______

  If you enjoy slaughtering hundreds of enemies at a time or Bosses with millions of HP... then this game is for you.
