If you missed your oppurtunity to get the original P3, don't repeat the same mistake again.

What can I say. P3:FES is an epic game that is without a doubt the nest for many cults and shrines to come and with good reason. A revolutionary RPG that takes good points from two popular styles in games, dating-sims and classic dungeon grinding.

Graphics-10/10

To say the least, P3FES graphics are stunning. While not mainstream, the design behind P3FES are absolutely breath-taking. For it's dark and mature themes, it has a surprisingly joyful colour scheme, combining the two for a thrilling and adventurous atmosphere. However, there is some repetition within dungeons, but that is barely noticeable, due to the amount of detail used for the construction of this game. There are also the occasional comic book element to the game, which lightens up the mood deeply (I just love All-Outs). The environment and character designs seem to blend into each other perfectly and seem to belong with each other (not to mention the characters are kinda smexi).

Sound-10/10

I love the music behind P3FES. The occasional Japanese inflection behind each song creates a different tone for every environment. The dungeon has a dark eeire BGM that fits the tone of the actual story, however, battle music is upbeat and jingly, like all battle music should be, and does not interfere with the battles, rather it adds to the psyche in the fights. Voice-acting and sound effects are also top notch. The character voice matches their appearance, rather having a random masculine voice to an incredibly cute character (Al-Khaid of .hack//GU, anyone?). Sound effects also feel as if they actually done in real life with a microphone next to it, immersing you deeper into the gameplay.

Gameplay-10/10

The part that all gamers actually pick up a controller for. And pick it up for P3FES, you must. Just make sure you don't drop it and break your controller, or else waiting outside in the cold of the near by game store for a new controller may cause you to die of impatience. That's right, that's just how awesome P3FES gameplay is. To tell the truth, I had not purchased the original P3 (a descision I regret today) because I could not stop play P3FES for the first weekend I played it. Literally. I have not played it for a week and I have been failing school because P3FES is all I could think about. The gameplay is endlessly addicting, combining dating-sim elements with classic RPG tactics and dungeon grinding with all sorts of details that you must take in while playing. The unique and rather complex schedule that you must decide on your own can become frustrating and a beginner of this game may become overwhelmed and finding themselves restarting this game a couple of times...gleefully. To say the least, the dating sim adds to the genuine feel of a high schol student, that must seperate their time wisely (I know how THAT feels) and at night the trips to Tatarus are annoyingly addictive. Battles within Tartarus are fought alongside with AI, that you can actually control, and when your turn comes, there is a large array of options, even in the beginning. The gameplay also makes sense. Your characters actually can get sick and tired, while in most RPG's you fight on for days.

All-in-all P3FES is going to be a favorite of mine for a long time, it's overly innovative and a ninjaliscious game that anyone who is anyone (and of age) should purchase.
