Although it may be old. Digital Devil Saga (2) is by far the best console game I have ever played in my life.
I bought Digital Devil Saga shortly after it was released in the US, however I never got very far in either of them. But just about a month ago I decided to give them another try and I was completely blown away.
I've played many games in my life, but Digital Devil Saga tops them all even today. The characters are incredibly interesting and beautifully designed. You will have an instant connection with the characters and that will continue to grow as you move throughout the game. The combat is also extremely strategic and fun. Some may say it gets repetitive, however, I have to disagree in a way. The combat may be repetitive, but who cares because its fun (as well as very challenging)! So to be honest, there isnt much you can really say about the game. You just absolutely have to buy it, the game is beyond describing you have to experience it.
