This is how a turn-based rpg should be. Great history and demanding gameplay.

User Rating: 9.5 | Megami Ibunroku: Devil Survivor DS
Graphics:
The graphics are mainly bad, let's be honest, the monsters are just 2d images which don't move. Still, the art is pretty and detailed and the game covers this with the amazing story and gameplay.

Story:
The game divides itself in 7 days, each one building up tension to the great 7th day.
This 7th day is special, because the game has different endings that revolve around this whole day, so the final part of the game can change depending on the choices you make through the game. I tried two of this paths but I believe there's at least 5.

Gameplay:
This is how an rpg should be made. You can't just grind and press the attack button over and over.
Well I guess you could, but since the game heavily limits you on this you would be forced to grind for hours.
So you end up using tactics and planning, which makes it feel extremely satisfactory when you finish a hard boss.
Also, the demon auction and fusion system is very interesting, if you manage it well enough you will become more powerful without having to lvl up more than your main hero.
And, in my book, fusion is always interesting.

All in all, I highly recommend this game, and if you love traditional rpgs, you better play it, cause you're gonna love it.
