Revolution that beasts SRPGs

User Rating: 9.5 | Megami Ibunroku: Devil Survivor DS
In my honest opinion, this trashes Final Fantasy Tactics games.
Even with its lack of jobs, its deep storyline, astounding number of different endings, and character development moved me like hell.

I was ashamed for not knowing about the Shin Megami Tensei franchise until I picked it up randomly at a game shop, and I regret the 2-3 years that I have wasted without playing this game.

If you're considering to get this or not, please do not hesitate any further, you will not be let down, even if you were a die-hard hater of SRPGs.

Absolutely refreshing!
This beats Luminous Arc (Which I held so dear), and Final Fantasy Tactics games!
Instead of the repetitive, "Save the world" sh*t, you actually have a chance to choose your own ending!

Storyline: 9.2
Your peaceful world gets thrown into absolute chaos, as demons start appearing at an alarming rate, and with absolutely no help from the Japanese authority, you are left absolutely unarmed, untrained, and unready to fight the impending destruction that awaits you.

Your genius cousin, gives you a weapon however.
The weapon to control these demons, to defend yourself and find a way to end this madness.

Art: 9.0
Beautiful, the cinematic opening was nothing I would have asked for, but it's addition was already icing to the delicious~scrumptious cake!
Characters are drawn and presented amazingly, not to mention the huge racks the females have. (Remember, this is a bonus, not a necessary trait.)

The demons, are also made very beautifully and detailed.
Not something you really see in SRPGs, and this time, you get to use them! How deliciously awesome!

Gameplay: 8.9
Dude, you get to use your ENEMIES, to fight against your ENEMIES with magic or physical attacks.

It's like freaking enemyception thrown at their faces with magical blasts of raging slaps.
Being a turn-based SRPG, it's quite repetitive, or so I thought, but really, it's unique so much I can't put it words.

Re-playability: 8.1
Never have I put so high for this, but it's really good, for 6 different endings.
