This was a great game, it was like an oblivion for the PS2, I cant belive that the rating was as low as it is! I couldnt get past a level so I sold it, but I actually regret it, the game was sad at parts, like when you see the bodies buring, and creepy too, but it was a well balanced game. I would reccommend this to people who dont get (or like to) startled easily, because the game gets depprassing at parts, I'm not going to lie, I had nightmeres about this game sometimes, but I still kept it. I got this from my aunt and uncle for my birthday, a while back, and I loved it, it was MY first game, all the others were my Father's. This game was amazing, it wasnt like Final Fantasy where if you change your armor you cant tell, your armor actually changes when you change it. This is a great game to give togamers that think that life is great, it will bring a reality to them and bring them back to earth. I can understand why some people wouldnt like this, but that is just cause they dont like this genre of games. The whole "shifting" part was confusing, but most of the time, you didnt want to shift because your enemies still knew it was you. Well the reason I said this was a "rent it first" type game is because not many people would like this type of game. The graphics are amazing for its time, but the story line is waaaaayyy lacking, they should hae spent more time on the story, also the controls were hard to use unless you are a SOCOM fan because the "x" button wasn't jump like it usually is in these type games "x" is attack. Anyway, I strongly reccommend you at least rent this game to see what is is before you see the gamespot rating because personally I think gamespot is wrong.
