The best thing about this game is the soundtrack

User Rating: 7 | Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip WII
Shaun White's roadtrip for the Wii has appealing visuals, nice interface and a great soundtrack. It was made especially for the Wii.
The game is all about snowboarding. It's a fun arcade experience where you need to get down a mountain as fast as possible or do all kinds of tricks. There also are some halfpipe levels. Locations are all over the world, which is great. There are levels in Canada, Chili, Japan and more. You can choose from a bunch of characters, each with their own qualities.
You can use the balance board if you like and if you have one lying around it's great to use it for something different then wii-fit. It's not worth getting one ro play this game. The gameplay has some issues. While initially it's fun to race down a mountain by snowboard the tricks you have to perform get boring after a short time. Maybe, if doing tricks is your thing, you'll like the game more then i did.
The most positive thing about this game i found to be it's soundtrack. Though it seems a bit British orientated there are a lot of great tracks on it. "Don't fear the Reaper" is a fantastic song, you'll hear when you select a level. Other tracks are great when snowboarding down mountains like Metro Station's "Control". It's a mix of new music, from when it was released, and classics from Run-DMC and Faithless.
The music you can enjoy long after you have finished this mostly forgettable game.
