SPPS is basically a snowboarding version of THPS3 but with the conversion for pavement to snow it loses its greatness.

Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder is a snowboarding game that uses the same game engine used in the Tony Hawk series but the system of having a time limit and certain goals to complete just doesn't work as well as it does with the Tony Hawk games mostly because if you miss a goal or the certain place you had to go you have to find one of the randomly placed vehicles that will take you back up the mountain a little ways. Also the tricl system doesn't work as well you can do manuals to get bigger combos but doing manuals is very tedious and will take you quite a while to perfect even once you are an expert at manuals you will still wipe out quite a lot because when you do flips if you just tilt back the tiniest bit you will most likely wipe out this is quite frustrating. The graphics aren't very good also, but the soundtrack is good... If you like metal which I do but there are many people who will find themselves turning the sound off most likely. Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder is an okay game but you should pass on it and buy a Tony Hawk game instead.
