tony hawk.....on snow

User Rating: 8.5 | Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder PS2
Well, amazingly enough, Shawn Palmer's Pro Snowboarder is a lot like the Tony Hawk games of old. You have a time limit, some goals, and some tricks. One of the neat things about the game in my opinion, is that the time limit changes between each mountain, unlike the THPS series.
The soundtrack for this game is AMAZING. All kinds of metal are represented, from Static X to Pantera and Powerman 5000. Also, the sound effects are good as well, but I ended up turning them down to focus on the music.

Most of the Mountains in this game are well balanced, the only one that isn't is Kirkwood. All of the mountains have some INCREDIBLE views, but I won't spoil them here...go check them out for yourself.

The tricks flow really well, especially with the inclusion of the manuals and butters. If these two tricks weren't in this game, it would be a very miserable experience. However, I don't think that they did a logical job of doling out point values for the tricks...

Controls- 8.0/10, could have been better, but not bad
Graphics-7.75/10, this game was made in 2001...need more
Sound-9.25/10, great soundtrack, and Shawn White as a 14 year old..
Entertainment-8.75/10, really fun, addicting title
replay value-8.5/10, this is a THPS game on SNOW
Overall-8.75, considering that this is only a few dollars at gamestop...there is absolutely no reason not to own this game
