Shattered Patience
The graphics aren't bad at all and it looks pretty good in HD. The ambient occlusion really spices things up and makes space that much more mysterious while your floating around. The character models are fantastic but the weapons themselves seem a little dated looking. They appear somewhat low poly compared to everything else's realistic appearance.
The audio isn't that impressive really ambient and quite dull. I never once became excited during the game accept for the first few minutes I actually got to play without crashing. The weapon sound effect are good but the sound track was very dullishes.
The controls however where pretty standard excluding the fact your floating around in space. Standard WASD movement while having a jet pack key and surrounding weapon toggles.
Game play, however, was were I was let down the most. It's not a traditional death match where you gun each other down. The is more of an arena based shooter where you have to force your opponents out of bounds. That is easier said than done. I was unsuccessful at getting any kills or forcing anyone out of bounds. I'm not entirely sure you can kill. I sampled each of the weapon load outs and wasn't satisfied with any of them except the shotguns push back which was very effective.
I got it on sale for $10 on Steam and I want my money back. By all means try the demo and write your own review.
