You are the character of a young adult named Eike. As destiny has it this time traveling stud will get stabbed and killed, but more times an unexpecting circumstances which might confuse you, but hey you have more than nine lives unless time runs out and game over. That annoyed me about the time limit which if you have 500 years to travel with a Z-pad to figure out your murderer why the time crunch? But that is my opinion, you have the option to save your personal travel but keep in mind the death game. The storyline is addicting so you will get hooked and try to talk with people which might lead you to mini story games or give you clues, but remember your saga. Also this thriller-drama game has different endings, my first fin I ended up getting run over by a sports car driving by drunken drivers. I know that whacks. I think the game play should last longer with more chapters and less half hour time capsules deaths. Wait for Shadow of Destiny lowers down in price. I still think it's worth playing.
