Serious Sam HD is a great first person shooter that is definitely worth checking out!
Graphics 9.0/10 - The graphics are definitely impressive. After all, it is HD & they improved them a lot since the original Serious Sam's. The lighting effects are really nice, the monsters look really good (especially when you shoot them from a distant, & when they die you can see them fall off the ledge. It looks really great!)
Gameplay 8.5/10 - The gameplay is better then what I expected but definitely not perfect for lots of reasons. Unfortunately, the analog stick will take time to get use to. The mouse is easier to use for aiming, but croteams auto-aim option which makes it easier to aim, makes up for it.
Multiplayer 8.0/10 - I'm really glad they added multiplayer to this game, especially on the xbox 360. They are missing deathmatch, but it is better than nothing. I gave it an 8 not only because they are missing a modes but because at times it can be laggy. (For example, a kleer skeleton is charging at you & you shoot it with a rocket launcher, but it misses due to the late reaction time) This doesn't happen all the time & it's not laggy to the point where it's not fun. ;)
That just about sums it up, I am missing sound but the sound is pretty much the same (The only thing they *might* have changed is the music, because I think the music has changed in certain levels, not all)
This game is definitely worth getting for 1200 microsoft points. If you are unsure, try the trial first, & remember if you are having trouble aiming, you can customize the sensitivity & you have the option to enable auto-aim or disable it.
