Serious Sam: The First Encounter brings fantastic gameplay and fun, making it one of the best FPS' of all time.

Back in 2001, First-Person Shooters were really popular. The end of the 90's and the early 00's is when the great FPS' started to come. Serious Sam is one of those games that brought some of the ideas into today's gameplay. Along with the great gameplay brought some great graphics (for its time), funny dialogue, and tons of fun. Here are the Pros and Cons.

PROS:
+ Fast-paced gameplay.
+ Good amount of weapons.
+ Tons of monsters.
+ Tons of levels.
+ For its time, it had great graphics.
+ Boss fights are great.
+ Epic battles with the monsters.
+ Very funny.
+ Serious Sam is a great Protagonist.
+ Multiplayer is tons of fun.
+ The sound alerts you very well for tons of monsters, bosses, etc.
+ Tons of player models for Multiplayer.
+ Co-Op works well.
+ Not too hard, but not too easy.

CONS:
- You'll hate finishing it.

Overall, Serious Sam is one hell of a FPS. The gameplay is worked out very well with tons of monsters, levels, battles, weapons, and player models. The graphics are great (once again, for its time), and the dialogue is very funny. The sound works well to tell you when monsters are coming, and when your about to face a boss. Serious Sam is one of those First-Person Shooters that you'll be addicted to once you get a chance to play it.
