The last great RPG for the SNES.

Despite not understanding any Japanese, at all I still went ahead and imported it. I was not disappointed. The only reason I ever got trough this game, was by guides found on the internet. Its just like Secret of Mana only with different characters. Whoever you choose gives you a different story, not that it really matters since the story is in Japanese, still fun though. So your, well some guy, and most presumably rescue the manas.

The game is most like Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, but with EXP. You see everything for the top-down, and must hack 'n' slash your way through the world. As you go on, you can pick up different weapons and armor and such, just like you'll expect from a regular RPG. On the way, other characters will join, the ones you chose in the beginning.

The graphics are beautiful and everything animates well. Basically some of the best graphic you'll see on the SNES. Everything is clear and colourful, and the game has the most beautiful intro on the SNES. The music is nothing to sniff at either, very catchy and makes for a good listening. The sound effects are also very well made.

Now, the only problem with this game is it's availability and it's price, plus its in Japanese, so its not gonna be for everyone, but people who loved the original Secret of Mana, should definitely check this out.
