Love the playlist of game names, but hate how they butchered them up.

With classics like Golden Axe, OutRun, and Columns, you'd expect a great slew of classics the way we have always intended. But as soon as you pop the disc in and then you realized, "Why are the graphics so different from the ones in the arcade?" Well, Sega re-defined the graphics to better suit the PS2 users.

But, what this game really gives us is a whole other excuse to play the classics that have been butchered up with PS2ish graphics. This doesn't appeal to me, but the only decent game on this collection is OutRun, because the music is unchanged (true classic arcade music, by the way) and graphics are quite decent.

So I wouldn't say this game is a total loss, OutRun can be played for decent appeal, but all the other games, Sega really butchered with graphics and shoddy gameplay that doesn't really stay with the same storyline and gameplay as the arcade versions have.

I'm truely disappointed with this collection, it's better to rent it than to buy it. Sorry Sega Classics Collection fans, but you have a disappointment in your hands.
